Black Means No Harm
My heart's torn apart like a door broken through with a battering ram.
The widespread racism, I no more can stand it.
Tell the world black means no harm.
There are bad nuts surely, I understand it.
But black is innocent so don't treat me bad.
I was born with it: this melanin.
Black is hardworking. Feel the texture of my palm
After the countless pounding and a hard day's work on the farm.
I was born with it: this melanin.
Freedom from all prejudices and an exclusive right to life sayeth the talking drum.
I was born with it, this melanin.
Tell the world black means no harm.
What flows through you flows through me: the adrenaline.
Nip the wildness in the bud and stay calm.
I was born with it: this melanin.
I healed wounds with the local herbs and mysterious magic of the balm.
The melodies galore: beautiful songs from the late Michael Jackson.
We used to be a people. So, why the misunderstanding?
Tell the world black means no harm.

Redundancy we may not heap up likewise racism.

It shall be well with our soul. Thanks
DeleteGreat piece ♥️
ReplyDeleteThe sad reality though is that we get all this hate solely because of our melanin!
We are just too much for others to bear thus all this manslaughtering and hate!
But, like it or not, Black seem to be the most unique and greatest thing ever!
We are hated for our greatness. I talk too much, I'll stop!
Lol you're right to spill more, I sometimes do wonder the world without us( The black race) . Despite our stubborn attitude, the world wouldn't be any better without black people. Take sports and entertainment for instance, most of the Greats are black as well.
