Freedom is never given; it is won.

Freedom consists not in doing what we like,

but in having the right to do what we ought.

Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.

For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.

 Freedom means the opportunity to be what we never thought we would be.

 Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes.

You are free.

 It does not take a majority to prevail… but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.

 Freedom means you are unobstructed in living your life as you choose.

Anything less is a form of slavery.

 Seek freedom and become captive of your desires. Seek discipline and find your liberty.

Thousands laid down their lives,

So that our country is breathing this day

Never forget their sacrifice

Carried with care, coated with pride,

Dipped in love, fly in glory,

Moments of freedom in shade of joy.

 Let’s take decision,

To value of our nation,

Shall not forget the sacrifices

Who gave us the freedom.

Now it’s our turn for a reformation.

 Be the cause of unity,

Fight against corruption,

Flair the flag of our nation. Ghana

 Freedom in Mind, Faith in Words

Pride in our Heart,

Memories in our Souls.

Let’s Salute the Nation on

 Let every patriot be honored,

Don’t let politics get in the way.

Without them freedom would have died

What they did, we can’t repay.

Lets Celebrate this Day.

The Day, that Gave Us the Freedom Of Thoughts,

Action, Faith and Speech.

 We should take the pledge that

Till our last breath we will fight terrorism,

We will protect our country with all we have

Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah once said

"He that would make his own liberty secure,

must guard even his enemy from opposition;

for if he violates this duty he establishes

a precedent that will reach himself."

Don’t let this flag down

 This Day Makes Us Smile and Frown,

For it’s The Day of Loudness and Silence,

They Died by Giving Us Freedom’s Crown,

And Did Not Even Enjoy The Feeling Of Independence
