ARE WE SAFE?


"We won't be living in cages, if we were safe?".This was said by one of my lecturers when I was sitting in an environmental management class. He looked at the iron bars behind the windows and he said , " Bars behind the windows in a class  to protect people from falling through it, a place filled with people who are literally inclined". He laughed. This means that from the onset, we Ghanaians are predicted to be unsafe.

Are we SAFE Physically, Emotionally, Mentally, Spiritually? Are we SAFE as a nation Ghana?

Are we SAFE Physically?
Then why the numerous road accidents which has led to countless deaths?
Then why do we use condoms to cover the glimpse of STD's?
Then why the robberies and murders?

Are we SAFE Physically, Emotionally, Mentally, Spiritually? Are we SAFE as a nation Ghana?

 Are we SAFE Emotionally?
Then why the heartbreaks?
Then why the divorce?
Then why the blackmails and betrayal?
Which has led people to commit suicides and taking revenge due to the hole that has been created in their heart's.

Are we SAFE Physically, Emotionally, Mentally, Spiritually? Are we SAFE as a nation Ghana?

 Are we SAFE Mentally?
Then why the mental trauma?
Then why the broken mind?
Then why do we run into fear upon hearing false rumors.
 This can be likened to the fear we had upon hearing that, the USA military is moving into Ghana. Why do we run Into fear when we heard false rumors that, the President Of Ghana has ascribed to homosexuality?

Are we SAFE Physically, Emotionally, Mentally, Spiritually? Are we SAFE as a nation Ghana?

 Are we SAFE Spiritually?
Then why do we run to churches, shrines and mosques for protections?
Then why do we buy countless  anointing oils, stickers not even looking at how expensive it is, we now call it a Giffen Good.

 Are we SAFE Physically, Emotionally, Mentally, Spiritually? Are we SAFE as a nation Ghana?

 Now the ball is in your court
Are we truly safe as Ghanaians?
Was it a Perception that was given to us, when we declared out  our freedom on 6th March,1957?
Are we SAFE or NOT?
The ball is in your court?

The year started beautifully as churches, organizations and institutions started shouting their themes for the year at 12am during 31st night. Everything was magical, different kinds of beautiful fireworks were thrown into the sky just to welcome this year. University:The place to have sex?

University is the place to have sex? Before people enter university, they have the perception that to have sex there, is simple like rolling a dice. Is that so, or is that a joke? If that's so,  are the boys the cause or the girls at fault? I thought relationship in the university brings about this sex Issue,  but that is no longer the case.
