"VIRTUE; MY PRIORITY"

Ears do itch when you hear people complain that, there is no work in Ghana. Some even complain of being given sack letters for irrelevant reasons. Students failing their examinations and claiming that, the teachers are being biased. Beautiful and Handsome youths blaming their so called ‘housewitches’ for not being married. And now divorce making it way into the married ones who claim to have love for each other. Many questions arise each and every day as to problems we encounter. I guess people would  have asked Google why those problems if only it could  have given them the perfect answers they desire. Unfortunately, they think the best way to find remedies to those problems is to waste precious time blaming others for the cause.

An aged friend once told me his life story of being a young guy of 22 years, who completed a prominent university and has been searching for a job, and has written many applications to different companies but all to no avail. He remained jobless till the age 28. It happened on a lucky day, when he received an email for an interview from one of the prominent companies he had wrote the application letters to. On that day, he arrived at the interview hall with a simple dressing code, not to be compared with that of the other applicants who were dressed executive; which made him doubt if he was going to be taken. The applicants went for their interview and it was his turn so he went and came out feeling normal. He got home and received a call that he has been chosen ; due to his polite manner, he has been
given the job. The question he asked himself was that; why not the executive applicants? It was then he realised that it was all about his inward uniqueness ‘VIRTUE’. Bloggers, researchers and other information sources all give different definition to 'VIRTUE' but the question to ask is that, do they give the remedy to people’s problems? Is it necessary to have a 'VIRTUE'?. 'VIRTUE' should be a priority in every one's life, because with 'VIRTUE', you stand out in the multitude. The existence of poverty gets to be a fallacy to people with and they see thinking about it  as a waste of precious time.

See! there's perhaps no phenomenon which contains so much destructive feeling as moral indignation which permits envy or hate to be acted out under the guise of 'VIRTUE'. Let's make 'VIRTUE' our greatest priority to attain good life but also eternal life.
