HATRED LOVE

Princess:

All my life, I waited to feel the way you made my emotions flutter in butterfly and honey ways; before you switched from best friend to worst enemy.

The arguments, the insulting shots, distance

... the failed promises to be mentioned with your big lie of making me a missus.

Maybe you deserve better

But that better is in no way, me.

I only realised that the assurance of counting on you was but a fleeting fantasy

And now I know...

Now I know that dancing with you was the end to my majestic movements

Never careful with your words when you spat them in my face, slowing my pace and throwing me into a maze of love and so much hate just to make me dazed.

So shocking that you fail to remember how I was your valentine

Oh Valentine!

I hope you've lost the guts to ever utter the word because it'll be only when you dare, shamefully to broach the word, that gladly make your downfall my dine with the sourest and acidic lime !

Danielthepoet:

So is this what you are saying?

You dare to open your mouth to accuse me of pointing arrows at you but you were the one who pulled the trigger.

You say I spat on you, but you were the one who held my neck so tight that I had no choice than to the unspeakable.

If indeed we used to dance,

Even our dearest friend Vance could attest to the fact even without a glance, that we never danced.

Yes you were once my valentine, I regret that, but what I do not regret is that you are still no longer my valentine.

Indeed there's a thin line between love and hate.

I thought our love could stand the test of times.

I thought I would never use words and rhymes to say that you are not mine

but here we are tearing each other apart like a lion and a deer.

My love has now turned against me for nothing I did.

But let's leave it for love and hate to judge.

let's leave it for valentine to manifest itself.
